  • Fixed-line retail voice, fixed-line customer premises equipment rental and sales, interconnection, fixed-line data, Data Centre Operations, Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), mobile communication, and information technology are among the products and services offered to businesses and individuals.

Telkom Bursaries

Students who intend to pursue undergraduate courses like

  • Electrical Engineering (Light Current),
  • Information Technology / Computer Science
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
Requirements for Telkom Bursary South Africa
  • The candidate must be a South African citizen.
  • Candidates in Grade 12 or 11 may apply (Grade 11 will be pre-evaluated)
  • Candidates must provide proof of income and need for financial aid.
  • Candidates must have a valid South African ID book/card.

Application timeliness

Fresh application submission will start from 1st March and the application date closes on  31 July. Applications submitted after July 31 will not be accepted.

who is eligible for a bursary?

You must meet the following conditions to be considered for a bursary:

Studying at a university that is accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) that offers SAICA-certified programs up to the Honours / CTA level.

How to Apply and the Specifics of the Application

  • The Telkom Centre for Learning can provide you with an application form (CFL). Fill out the application form with your correct personal information.
  • With your application, include certified copies of the following documents:
  • Document of identification
    Results of the matriculation
  • If applicable, a complete academic record of your tertiary results.
