About Methodist College
- Methodist College has been providing high-quality education for healthcare professionals for over a century. What began as a nurse training program established by the Methodist Episcopal Church’s deaconesses in 1900 has evolved into a nursing program with baccalaureate and master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees in health science and social work, and education possibilities for medical and nursing assistants.
- Methodist College is a private, non-profit, four-year institution affiliated with UnityPoint Health. Our students benefit from practical opportunities at UnityPoint Health hospitals and clinics around the Peoria area as a result of this partnership. The college has no religious affiliations, including the United Methodist Church.
- To provide students with comprehensive education, our curriculum integrates high-quality academic programs with real-world clinical and practicum experience. We give students a strong foundation in the arts and sciences that will help them succeed in their chosen program.
