It is in charge of developing cutting-edge technologies and ensuring that technological improvements are made on a regular basis. GE South Africa now employs over 600 people and continues to offer resources and invest in local talent in order to provide limitless opportunities.

General Electric (GE) Bursary Application Requirements

  • A certified copy of a government-issued photo ID
  • Matric certificate certified copy
  • A certified copy of the entire academic transcript (applies to applicants who are currently at tertiary level)
  • A letter from the university or institution stating that you have been accepted
  • Parents/guardians evidence of family earnings (can be latest pay slips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, and SASSA letter if on pension)
  • Citizen of South Africa with valid ID/document card
  • Financial need that has been established (Those who do not currently receive assistance from any other institution will be given priority.)
  • A grade point average of 60 percent or better is required.

General Electric (GE) will be awarding bursaries to students who are studying within the following fields of study:

Engineering
Health Sciences
Commerce
Humanities
Social Sciences
