About Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Bursary 

limited number of bursaries will be available from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to historically disadvantaged South Africans resident in the Gauteng Province who are seeking career in agricultur, veterinary services, or the environment. 
These occupations fit within one of the few and important occupational categories.
Fields of studies Minimum requirements (National Senior Certificate)
BSc: Geo-Informatics or GIS-related qualification Mathematics and Physical Science Level 5 (60-69)
BSc Agriculture (Soil Science) Mathematics and Physical Science Level 5 (60-69)
BSc: Atmospheric Sciences or related qualification Mathematics, Chemistry and Physical Science Level 5 (60-69)
National Diploma: Chemical Engineering Mathematics, Chemistry and Physical Science Level 4 (50-59)
National Diploma: Equine Science Mathematics, Life Science and Physical Science Level 4 (50-59)
National Diploma: Veterinary Technology Mathematics and Physical Science Level 4 (50-59)

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
  • University acceptance letter/provisional admission
  • Certified copy of Latest academic transcripts, if at tertiary level
