A brief o Ekurhuleni East TVET College

The Ekurhuleni East TVET College is one of South Africa’s 50 TVET colleges, and it is located in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s eastern section. Ekurhuleni is a Tsonga word that means “place of peace,” and the College is named after it.

The Ekurhuleni East TVET College arose from the merger of five technical colleges: Benoni Technical, Isidingo Technical, Tlamoga Technical, and Springs Technical; later, the Artisan and Skills Development Centre was discovered, bringing the total number of centers to six. Currently, Ekurhuleni East TVET College has six campuses scattered over six geographic locations in Ekurhuleni’s Eastern Region.
