Direct entry MSN programs
Students with a non-nursing degree who want to work as a registered nurse (RN) or advanced practice nurse can enroll in a direct-entry master’s in nursing (MSN) program (APRN). Nurses with a master’s degree are known as APRNs. Nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, and clinical nurse specialists are examples of APRNs.
