The Bursary was established to provide financial assistance to students who have the capacity to excel at NCV or NATED (Report 191) studies but are unable to fund their education. NSFAS is in charge of this program (National Students Financial Aid Scheme).
NSFAS is only applicable on the following grounds:
Due to the limited bursary money available, the scholarship will not be able to cover all students in the college.
Will students who get bursaries be required to repay the money once they have completed their studies?
Students at TVET College do not have to repay the money because it is a bursary, not a loan.
