Capricorn TVET College Nsfas Application
The Department of Higher Education and Training has made bursaries available to make the National Certificate (Vocational) course more accessible. The bursaries are administered by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme on behalf of the Department of Higher Education and Training.
The Department of Higher Education and Training’s FET College Bursary Scheme aims to provide eligible students with access to public FET Colleges for vocational education and training.
The FET College Bursary Scheme is a fund established by the Department of Higher Education and Training to help students who are enrolled, or intend to enroll, in FET Colleges for NC(V) programs but are unable to pay for their studies.
If you meet the following criteria, you may apply for a bursary:
A citizen of South Africa.
Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in one of South Africa’s 50 public FET colleges for NC(V) programs.
I’m in need of cash help.
Capable of demonstrating academic achievement potential.
A successful application is required to be eligible for a bursary.
Open Date for Nsfas
The NSFAS online application will be open from September 1 to November 30.

-Please make sure you have the relevant paperwork in electronic format (certified within the last three months).
A birth certificate or your South African ID ( if you do not have a green bar-coded ID or smart ID card)
— Identification of parents and/or guardians, as well as a death certificate if applicable. Pay stubs/letters of employment/pension stubs stating income of parents and/or guardians (SASSA slips are not necessary and SASSA should not be listed as a household income).
