Welcome to Simply Diane. Here you will find musings on my often crazy , highly caffeinated life as a part-time drama queen and slightly neurotic, multi-tasking working mom of four (three teenagers and a 25-year old) and wife to one very blessed man (ha!)…oh, and a neurotic yet lovable dog who doesn’t know he’s a dog!
I was born and raised in the south. I love sweet tea and grits, occasionally use the word y’all and love the phrase “bless your heart” because it can mean many things but always sounds so sweet! I love to laugh, cherish my husband and children, love my family, adore my friends and cling tight to my faith.
My life is often chaotic and a bit on the crazy side so I began this blog as an outlet for all the random thoughts that swirl around in my head daily. It’s my personal alternative to therapy minus that pesky doctor/patient privilege as I pretty much share all.
